If “Use dates” checkbox is unchecked then tasks on Timesheet View will not be filtered by date (options From, To, Filter are ignored);
If “Use dates” checkbox is checked and “Show current” option is selected then such tasks will be displayed on view:
- Tasks without dates;
- Tasks with dates that intersect From-To interval.
For example, From = 2010-09-01, To = 2010-09-10. Task with dates 2010-08-01 – 2010-08-15 will NOT be displayed on view , task with dates 2010-08-15 – 2010-09-05 will be displayed on view, task with dates 2010-09-02 – 2010-10-01 will be displayed on view, task with dates 2010-08-15 – 2010-10-01 will be displayed on view, task with dates 2010-10-01 – 2010-10-15 will NOT be displayed on view.
If “Use dates” checkbox is checked and “Show current/future” option is selected then such tasks will be displayed on view:
- Tasks without dates;
- Tasks with dates that intersect From-To interval;
- Tasks that start after From-To interval.
For example, From = 2010-09-01, To = 2010-09-10. Task with dates 2010-08-01 – 2010-08-15 will NOT be displayed on view , task with dates 2010-08-15 – 2010-09-05 will be displayed on view, task with dates 2010-09-02 – 2010-10-01 will be displayed on view, task with dates 2010-08-15 – 2010-10-01 will be displayed on view, task with dates 2010-10-01 – 2010-10-15 will be displayed on view.
If From and To Date fields are empty. This means that From-To interval is not defined (empty) and there are no tasks that intersect empty From-To interval.
- If "Show Current" selected you see only tasks without dates.
- If “Show current/future” option is selected then all tasks with dates are treated as future tasks with respect to empty From-To interval. Because of this you see all tasks in this case. |
